Refund Policy

1. Overview

RunPitch, operated by Plarda Labs, is committed to customer satisfaction. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds on our subscription-based AI proposal generation service.

2. Refund Eligibility

2.1 Eligible for Refund

You may be eligible for a full refund if:

  • You request a refund within 7 days of your initial subscription payment
  • You have not used more than 5 proposals from your plan
  • You experienced a technical issue that prevented you from using the service, and we were unable to resolve it
  • You were charged incorrectly or billed in error

2.2 Not Eligible for Refund

Refunds will NOT be provided in the following cases:

  • Requests made more than 7 days after the subscription payment
  • Subscriptions that have been actively used (more than 5 proposals generated)
  • Partial month refunds or pro-rated refunds
  • Changes of mind after actively using the service
  • Dissatisfaction with AI-generated content quality (as proposals are AI-assisted and require user review/editing)
  • Failure to cancel before the next billing cycle

3. BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) Plan

For BYOK plan subscribers:

  • The $3 monthly fee is for platform access and is subject to the same refund policy
  • We are NOT responsible for charges incurred on your personal API accounts (OpenAI, Anthropic)
  • API costs are between you and your API provider and cannot be refunded by RunPitch

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Email us at hello@plardalabs.com
  2. Include "Refund Request" in the subject line
  3. Provide your account email address and subscription details
  4. Explain the reason for your refund request

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2-3 business days.

5. Refund Processing Time

Once approved, refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the subscription. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or payment provider to process the refund.

6. Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time:

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You will retain access until the end of your paid period
  • No refund will be provided for the remaining days
  • To avoid charges, cancel at least 24 hours before your next billing date

7. Chargebacks

If you file a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank without first contacting us to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to suspend your account immediately and pursue the matter according to our Terms of Service.

8. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of RunPitch after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
